This dvd tells the complete story of Leyland tractors including background on Nuffield and Marshall. The account starts in 1948 with the Nuffield Universal and follows developments through the M3, M4, DM4, 342 and the ten series. The 3/45, 4/65 and 4/25 concludes the Nuffield section.
The programme then moves onto Leyland, featuring the 344, 384, 154, 253, 245, 255, 270, 285 and 2100. The 272, probably Leyland's most successful tractor, is also featured, alongside the 282 and 482, with good footage of a 3DIII at work.
1980 saw the introduction of the Harvest Gold, with the 804 becoming the flagship model prior to the company joining Marshall.
At this point the dvd looks back at the history of Marshall with a selection of models featured including the 904 XL of 1984. The programme then reaches the conclusion of the story with the Track Marshall.
At the end of this programme Stephen Richmond and Jonathan Whitlam provide the viewer with a tour of their own private collection of Leyland tractors.
