This programme uses extracts from a collection of silent films which were professionally made by the National Institute of Agricultural Engineering over a period of about ten years from 1945.  Some of the programmes show machinery working in the field, others show experimental farm machines designed by NIAE.

This dvd covers grain crop, grass and silage machines.  Some of the farm machinery went successfully into production, others are rarities whose development was curtailed.  Examples include Claas, Allis-Chalmers, John Deere, Zickerman, Shearer, Oliver, International, McCormick and Traxcavator, plus many more.
