A popular television series for over 20 years, Country Ways is a collection of gentle film portraits about the southern English countryside as seen through the eyes and described in the words of people who live and work there.

This programme explores the ancient county of Wiltshire through all four seasons.  Among the local people featured are farmers and smallholders, a shepherd, a blacksmith, an angler, a thatcher, hedge layers, villagers and visitors enjoying all the fun of a traditional May Day fair and many more, all sharing their knowledge and appreciation of the great variety of life in Wiltshire.
