In 1939 Kent farmer Frederick Hynard recorded a year in the life of his farm on cine film.  The remarkable results were edited and broadcast by Anglia Television.

This programme shows the original footage and contrasts this with some farming operations filmed sixty years later.  Farmers Harold and Oliver Cooper also talk about the changes they have witnessed in agriculture since the Second World War.
