Features the following films from 1946:

North East Corner:  A retiring Fraserburgh skipper compares his life with that of a modern fisherman and farmer, in this view of the area’s industries, scenery and history. Memories of the hard times of the 1930s, when many fisherfolk were ruined, are still vivid. His daughter is married to a progressive farmer, and his son has taken over his boat. Then to the North East Capital, Aberdeen, to enjoy the much-loved Scots entertainer Alec Finlay on stage at the Tivoli Theatre.

Modern houses are replacing derelict cottages. The crofters are seen sheep clipping, milking, fetching water, cutting peat, making hay and lobster fishing.

The Glen is Ours: This comedy / drama is a timeless parable of politicians at odds with the will of their electorate, recently de-mobbed Hector Andrews fights an election to stop Cadisburn Glen, the local Lover's Lane, being sold. Features Ealing stalwarts, Anthony Baird ("Dead of Night") and Edie Martin ("The Titfield Thunderbolt", & "The Lavender Hill Mob"), Filmed in many familiar locations, including the Dean Village, Edinburgh.
